Easthaven Collection debuts at Bridgeland April 15, 2025 David Weekley Homes and Brightland Homes will offer homes in The Easthaven Collection, a new development within the Bridgeland master-planned community in Cypress. The collection is located in Easthaven, Bridgeland’s commercial district. Builders will offer single-family floor plans featuring two to four bedrooms, flex spaces, dual-access garages and courtyard-style backyards. Select plans include second-story roof terraces.

Area-wide housing inventory increased throughout the first quarter of 2025, the Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS® said. Active listings jumped 24.7% year over year as more sellers put their homes on the market. Meanwhile, the median home price remained stable at $330,000, up just 1.5% year over year. That represents a move towards a more balanced market, GFWAR said. “We are poised for an active spring housing market,” GFWAR President Paul Epperley said in a press release.

Spring homebuying season started heating up in March, according to data from the Houston Association of REALTORS®. The association’s latest Market Update shows that home sales increased 2.6% year over year last month, with 8,753 closings. That’s the highest sales volume since July 2024. Pending sales, meanwhile, rose 12.7%. Active inventory expanded as well, with a total of 32,866 properties on the market — the highest quantity since June 2011.

Active listings rose 36.1% annually in Dallas-Fort Worth last month, according to the March Housing Report from the MetroTex Association of REALTORS®. There were a total of 29,829 properties on the market across the Metroplex, expanding opportunities for homebuyers. Meanwhile, closed home sales just exceeded transaction volumes from March 2024, rising 0.7% year over year. A majority of those home sales — 28.4% — fell in the $300,000 to $399,999 price range.

Closed home sales rise 9.4% year over year in Houston April 11, 2025 Closings increased 9.4% during the week ended April 7, with 1,821 sales, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®. During the same week in 2024, 1,665 homes were sold. Pending sales decreased 2.5%, however, with 2,433 homes going under contract during the week. New listings remained well above 2024 volumes. Realtors added 4,630 properties to the MLS, a 30.6% increase year over year.
