    New listings rise annually in Houston but decrease week over week May 30, 2025 New listings increased 16.3% in Houston during the week ended May 26, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®. Realtors added 3,766 properties to the MLS during the week. That was actually down from 4,680 new listings the week prior. Although pending listings decreased 2.9% year over year, closings increased 4.6%, with 1,678 home sales during the week.

    Toll Brothers will build a gated, new-home community in Scottsdale called Toll Brothers at HighPoint. Located at 39977 N. 115th St., the community will feature 122 homes on 2.75-acre lots. Sales are expected to open late this summer, with prices starting at $1.9 million. Floor plans range from 3,640 square feet to over 5,000 square feet. Luxury upgrade options include casitas, multigenerational suites and garages that accommodate up to eight cars.

    Vista Residential Partners broke ground on Williams Ranch Vista, a 375-unit community next to the Williams Ranch development in Fort Bend County. The project is part of a partnership with the Rosenberg Housing Authority to meet local demand for attainable rental housing. Offerings will include one- and two-bedroom apartments with granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances and in-unit washers and dryers. On-site amenities include a pool, fitness area, clubhouse, package center and dog park.

    NAHREP: The Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators May 28, 2025 Phoenix-area agents were prominently featured in the 2025 edition of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals’ Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators Report. The highest-ranking Latino originator in the greater Phoenix area was Lizy Hoeffer of CrossCountry Mortgage, who reached a sales volume of $102,357,706 across 246 transactions. That transaction volume was the 17th-highest among NAHREP members nationwide.
