Dance Magazine is a prominent American publication dedicated to the world of dance, and it is produced by the Macfadden Communications Group. Originally launched in June 1927 under the name The American Dancer, it has since become a key resource in the dance community. William Como served as editor-in-chief from 1970 until his passing in 1989, and in 2004, Wendy Perron took over the role. The magazine is affiliated with several other publications, such as Pointe, Dance Spirit, Dance Teacher, Dance 212, and DanceU101, making it a vital part of the dance media landscape.
