DIIS is a standalone public research organization focused on international studies. We perform and share diverse research with the goal of influencing discussions in research, policy, and public discourse. Our work centers around foreign affairs, security, and development policies. We engage in fundamental research, analyze policies, and conduct research for specific commissions. DIIS is highly regarded in global rankings of prominent research institutions and think tanks. We publish our findings in well-known academic journals as well as in accessible formats for the general public.
