This summer visitors to Buckingham Palace will be able to step inside the magnificent East Wing for the first time since it was completed 175 years ago. The palace’s annual Summer Opening will welcome visitors from 11 July to 29 September 2024 for guided tours of the 19 opulent State Rooms and the palace gardens. The East Wing is now open to the public after five years of improvement and essential conservation works.

The Georgian arc of the Royal Crescent stood in for London, and the family Featherington’s house is actually the No.1 Royal Crescent museum, just along from the hotel, which is open to visitors and dressed much as it would have been in the 18th century.
