Dublin GAA

The Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), known in Irish as Cumann Luthchleas Gael Coiste Contae Átha Cliath, represents one of the 32 county boards in Ireland. It oversees Gaelic sports within the Dublin area and manages the county's teams. Supporters of these teams are affectionately called "The Dubs" or "Boys in Blue," and they have a strong connection to the Hill 16 section of Croke Park. In terms of All-Ireland Senior Football Championship titles, the Dublin football team ranks just behind Kerry, boasting a significant history of success. As of 2009, Dublin GAA had 215 affiliated clubs, making it the second largest association in the country, ahead of Antrim and Limerick, which each had 108 clubs.

The Boys in Blue had enjoyed a 100% start to the season with wins over Antrim and Westmeath. Dublin were left frustrated after last weekend’s defeat at Croke Park, however, after making a bright start to the game thanks to the efforts of Dónal and Conor Burke.
