Earth Island Institute produces a quarterly magazine called Earth Island Journal. This publication focuses mainly on in-depth investigative articles and highlights grassroots environmental initiatives. It has earned several awards for revealing stories that are often overlooked by bigger media organizations. The journal is funded through subscriptions and contributions from the Institute's Green Journalism Fund. For more than 35 years, Earth Island Journal has been delivering environmental news and opinions from various parts of the globe.
