ECONOMYNEXT – State-owned SriLankan Airlines was able to get favourable terms for its latest Airbus lease from French-based Carlyle Aviation Partners for an 8-year, its Chairman Sarath Ganegoda said. SriLankan added a new A330 Airbus to its fleet on Wednesday (04) expanding the total number to 23. “The engineering staff and the finance staff have done a fantastic job in getting very fanourable terms in acquiring this on a dry lease,” Ganegoda told reporters when asked about the terms of the lease.
