EenVandaag

énVandaag, also known as OneToday, is a current affairs show aired on the Dutch public television channel NPO 1 (previously Nederland 1). This program is presented from Monday to Saturday at 6:15 PM CET and is a collaboration between the broadcasting organizations AVRO and TROS, now known collectively as AVROTROS since 2014. The show began its journey in 1993 on Nederland 2 under the name Twee Vandaag. It was initially a joint effort of the broadcasting groups TROS, the EO, and Veronica, which had previously each produced their own weekly current affairs programs: TROS Aktua, Tijdsein (EO), and Nieuwslijn (Veronica). Over the years, the list of participating broadcasters has evolved. Currently, Bas van Werven (from TROS) and Pieter Jan Hagens (from AVRO) alternate as hosts for the program, while Jan Kriek serves as the editor-in-chief. Additionally, Eén Vandaag is available on weekdays on the international channel BVN.
