The transfer window closes on April 23. It is April 14. And somehow, we’ve reached a point where it already feels necessary for Atlanta to explore every possibility over those nine days. Eight games into the 2025 season, it’s clear that Atlanta is still missing pieces of a complete puzzle. Now, to be clear, the club isn’t going to solve every problem with one or two moves. But *something* has to be on the table. You’re running out of time for any in-season moves to matter.

Atlanta United lost a match to a team who coming into Saturday had scored just three goals all season. The lowly New England Revolution came into Mercedes-Benz Stadium and walked away with a 1-0 win, leaving the Five Stripes with only four of a possible nine points on their three-match homestand. The usual lack of cohesion and sloppy play led to another extremely frustrating result and has fans understandably upset over what is looking like another long season ahead.

Atlanta United and FC Dallas played to a 1-1 draw Saturday night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Five Stripes failed to ride the momentum of a wild win a week ago and had to settle for a disappointing point after a forgettable showing. As has been the case for a while, it was more of the same story as chemistry issues, lack of bite in the final third, and one very poor pass resulted in yet another match leaving Atlanta supporters shaking their heads.
