All propositions would come with a property tax increase. Silo Public Schools asked voters to approve a $52 million bond to build a new high school, gym, cafeteria, early childhood additions, and sewage upgrades. Property taxes would increase by 18 percent if the measure passes.

Senate Bill 54 would have elevated an aggravated conviction of driving under the influence from a misdemeanor to a felony charge. Currently, an aggravated DUI is a misdemeanor when a driver's blood alcohol content is found to be 0.15 or higher.
