French Politics, Culture and Society
FPC&S is the official journal of the Conference Group on French Politics & Society, supported by the Institute of French Studies at New York University and the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies at Harvard University. This journal focuses on both modern and contemporary France, examining it through the lenses of social sciences, history, and cultural studies. It also looks at France's connections with the wider world, particularly its ties to Europe, the United States, and its former empire. The editors encourage submissions on recent discussions and events, as well as articles that delve into the links between French society and various forms of cultural expression, including art, film, literature, and popular culture. Occasionally, issues are dedicated to specific themes. Featuring peer-reviewed research articles, insightful essays, and book reviews across various fields, French Politics, Culture & Society serves as a platform for scholarly discussion and the latest research on France.
