The FSU Seminoles landed a commitment from transfer pitcher Cade O'Leary on Wednesday morning. The righty saw limited action in his freshman season with the Mississippi State Bulldogs, but was a top prospect coming out of high school. O'Leary, a 6-foot-4, 190-pounder, pitched two innings over two appearances, allowing two unearned runs on two hits and a wild pitch. He recorded five strikeouts and did not issue a walk.

He took an unofficial visit in April before heading back to Tallahassee on June 13.

The FSU Seminoles are one of the hottest teams in the country right now, adding nine players over the past two weeks to their 2026 recruiting class. It has been an excellent job by Mike Norvell and his coaching staff as they have addressed several major needs. They were able to secure their quarterback on Sunday, flipping four-star prospect Jaden O'Neal from the Oklahoma Sooners, firing up the fanbase.
