Good Day New York is a morning television show that airs on WNYW Fox 5, which is channel 5 in New York City. The show is hosted by Rosanna Scotto and Lori Stokes. WNYW is owned by Fox Television Stations, a part of the Fox Corporation. This show made history as the first morning newscast on a Fox-owned station when it premiered on August 1, 1988. It runs every weekday from 4:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Eastern Time. The first segment from 4:30 to 7 a.m. focuses on general news, traffic updates, and weather forecasts. From 7 to 9 a.m., the program continues with news, traffic, and weather but also adds entertainment news. The final hour from 9 to 10 a.m. features entertainment segments, including celebrity interviews and discussions with politicians, along with lifestyle topics such as food and fashion.
