Graphic Online
The Daily Graphic is a daily newspaper owned by the state of Ghana, based in Accra. Founded in 1950 alongside the Sunday Mirror by Cecil King from the London Daily Mirror Group, it boasts a circulation of 100,000 copies, making it the most popular daily publication in Ghana. Throughout its history, particularly after the country gained independence, the paper has experienced numerous changes in its editorial leadership, especially during periods of military rule when editors who disagreed with government policies were often dismissed. In 1979, the newspaper was briefly renamed the People's Daily Graphic under Jerry Rawlings to emphasize that it was a paper for the people.
