THE LIB Dems have secured the most Hinckley and Bosworth seats in what they have hailed as their ‘best ever’ result in a county council election today (2 May). While Leicestershire County Council as a whole is now under No Overall Control (NOC) and Reform have the most seats there with 25, followed by Conservatives at 15, and the Liberal Democrats at 11, the Lib Dems retained four Hinckley and Bosworth seats, and gained one.

THE ELDERLY generation is being given a platform to share their stories, and invaluable life lessons on a new podcast which launches next week. The podcast, named “Words of Wisdom” has been launched by James William from Nuneaton, who will broadcast the stories – which would have otherwise gone unheard – on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, with new episodes being broadcast weekly.
