Hinckley’s former Revival bar will be transformed into a new night-time venue and restaurant that the owners promise will be the town’s “newest hot spot”. People are being urged to book in advance as the venue opens later this week. The currently empty unit, in Regent Street, will be transformed into Asilo, a 'glitzy' new bar and eatery that will serve “expertly crafted drinks”.

A former Hinckley nightclub which called last orders is being transformed into a new bar. Plenty of drinks will be on offer with new images revealing a series of top shorts and shots waiting to be served. Public Spirit will take over the former Out Out nightclub that was based in Hinckley’s Regent Street. Signs for the new bar emerged this week, with the name of the business appearing above the door of the old nightclub which had only opened in 2021.

A POPULAR Nuneaton beer festival, which helps fundraise for charity, is to make its triumphant return this year, following the success of last year’s inaugural event. Emanating from the club house of Nuneaton Rugby Club, the four-day long Nuneaton Round Table beer festival, starting on Thursday, 28 September, and conclude on Sunday, 1 October, will see drinkers unite to try different brews and styles from both local and national brewery chains.

A former cinema building in Hinckley has been sold for a six figure sum after standing empty for around 20 years. According to property documents uncovered by the Hinckley Free Press, the former cinema has been sold for £350,000 on Friday, April 21, this year. The property, known legally as the MGM Cinema, has been officially sold to Wigston Estates Limited based in Quinton Rise, Oadby.
