ICC Cricket
The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the main authority for cricket worldwide. It oversees 106 member nations and manages the sport, organizing significant global tournaments such as the ICC Men’s World Cup, Women’s World Cup, and the T20 World Cups for both men and women, along with their qualifying events. The ICC also implements the ICC Code of Conduct, which outlines the professional standards for discipline in international cricket, including playing conditions and bowling reviews. They are responsible for appointing match officials and, through their Anti-Corruption Unit, they take measures against corruption and match-fixing. Additionally, the ICC Development department collaborates with Associate Members to enhance the quality of cricket internationally, develop better cricketing frameworks, encourage more participation in the sport, and promote the growth of cricket on a global scale.
