A 29-year-old Rexburg man faces up to six years in prison but will first serve 30 days in the Madison County Jail. His prison sentence will be suspended in favor of probation. Qwade Perry and his attorney Joshua Garner met before Seventh District Judge Steven Boyce on Monday. Perry pled guilty to felony driving under the influence in exchange for the state dropping charges of carrying a weapon while under the influence, driving without privileges and driving with an open container of alcohol.

It marked an important step toward ending one of the most horrific chapters in American history. A four-year investigation into the 2021 murder of Ralph Brian has resulted in the arrest of two suspects alleged to have participated in the killing. Madison County Sheriff Ron Ball held a press conference Wednesday morning where he announced that Ryler Jensen, 28, and Anthony Dean Wilson, 33, had both been charged with conspiracy to murder in the first degree and murder in the first degree for Brian’s death. A grand jury indicted Wilson and Jensen Friday.

Multiple sexual assaults were reported at Roaring Springs Waterpark in Meridian on Friday afternoon. Meridian Police officers responded to the report, which alleged that an adult man had inappropriately touched a juvenile girl. The suspect was identified as 40-year-old Bo Gene Crisp, according to a Meridian Police Department news release. After police investigated, they found that two girls had been victimized in the wave pool by Crisp, the release said.
