This follows the district’s May 20 vote to deconsolidate and form two new districts: Clearwater Valley School District 245 (including Elk City) and Grangeville School District 246.

    GRANGEVILLE — Mountain View School District 244’s deconsolidation will have a friendly and experienced face to help in its transition in the coming months. The board of trustees voted unanimously at a special meeting May 28 to extend Holthaus’ contract into the 2025-’26 school year; the current contract runs through the end of June. The new contract will run from August through December with a salary of $66,500.
