HONOLULU (KHON2) — State transportation officials are warning Oahu drivers to expect delays due to an uptick in road construction, especially along major corridors including the H-1 Freeway, Moanalua Freeway, and areas near the airport. The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) reported 25 separate projects with lane closures along the H-1 Freeway alone during the week of May 10 to May 16. Additional work is also underway on the H-2 and Moanalua freeways.

His testimony comes as the U.S. passed 1,000 measles cases across 11 states. In his first three months on the job Secretary Robert F. Kennedy junior has eliminated 1/4 of the health agency’s workforce and cut $11 billion in federal funds for states. Senators say those cuts affected vaccine programs in states.

NORWALK, Ohio (WJW) – An Ohio man was arrested after receiving his 20th OVI citation (operating a vehicle impaired) while allegedly driving under the influence earlier this month. According to an incident report from the Norwalk Police Department, an officer was traveling behind a white van on May 2 around 12:45 a.m. The van was driving at 15 mph on a stretch of road where the speed limit was 25 mph. It then sped up to proper speed and slowed back down to 15 mph in a 35 mph zone.
