An Audrain County man is seriously injured when his riding lawn mower overturns just outside his hometown. The accident happened Thursday evening on Route NN, about seven miles northwest of Mexico. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 66-year-old man from Mexico was riding his mower on when it overturned into creek, ejecting him. The man was flown to University Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

A northeast Missouri man is seriously injured when he wrecks his motorcycle in Crawford County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 46-year-old man from Kirksville was riding his bike down Highway 19, four miles south of Cherryville, Thursday afternoon, when he failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the side of the road. The man was flown to a St. Louis-area hospital for treatment of his injuries.

A Jefferson City man is behind bars on a child pornography charge. Richard Ware, 58, was charged with one count of possession of child pornography Wednesday. He’s been deemed a danger to the community and is being held without bond. Court documents state that Ware was in possession of videos showing girls between the ages of six and ten years old engaged in sexual acts on June 18.

The man who died during an officer-involved shooting in Saline County has been identified as an Arizona murder suspect. The suspect has been identified as Francis Alcantar-Chavez, 23, of Tempe, Arizona. He’d been on the run since Sunday for fatally shooting his mother and stepfather at their home in northern Arizona. The incident in Missouri began Tuesday night when officers with the Concordia Police Department began pursuing Alcantar-Chavez who was wanted for the out-of-state murder.
