Police in Orange are investigating a shooting. It happened before 10:00 last night in the 2000 block of 6th Street. The victim was airlifted to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. It is believed shots were fired into the home from the outside. At last report an arrest had not been made.
Port Neches Man Sentenced To 30 Years | 1045 KISS FM

On Friday, a Jefferson County jury convicted and sentenced a Port Neches man on two counts of indecency with a child. 42-year old Joshua Sport has been sentenced to 20 years for one count and 10 years for the second count. The sentences will run consecutively. The same victim was sexually assaulted at the church and then on a separate time at a church related event. Sport will have to serve the first 20 years before the second 10 year sentenced will begin.
