A new twist in Ruby's life! The golden retriever went from being left in a shelter to becoming a service dog. Last summer, her original owner left her at the SPCA Roussillon in Canada when the workers noticed the connection she has with people. They contacted the Asista Foundation which is a charity dedicated to rescuing dogs from shelters and training them to become service dogs. Nick Suzuki and his fiancée Caitlin Fitzgerald have been volunteering and supporting Asista for years.

A young boy was given a great birthday surprise when he was celebrating at the park. The 8-year-old was getting ready to blow out the candles on his cake when a couple of strangers came over to help sing 'Happy Birthday'. The party was a little small with guests so adding a couple more added to the excitement. An adult and three children popped over to surprise James.
