A weightlifter had come up with a surefire way to make some extra money. He would take a lemon in his big powerful hand and squeeze all the juice out of it. Fuller was overwhelmed by the number of people who came to share in the celebration.

The backdrop of the Field of Honor is Hollister artist Karen Harley’s painted mural on the west wall of the museum. It was the second installment of the Hometown Hero Program, originally brought to the museum by retired Air Force Brigadier and museum curator General David Johnson for Veterans Day 2024.
