Lowvelder
Lowvelder offers a reliable platform for advertisers, ensuring your message reaches a large audience with confidence. Our community newspapers effectively connect with 75% of the local market, far surpassing the reach of any daily, weekly, or Sunday newspaper, which typically captures only about 20%. As community newspapers expand their audience each year, many competing publications have seen a significant drop in sales recently. From an advertising standpoint, investing in community newspapers is a smart choice for utilizing your advertising budget effectively. Warren Buffet highlighted this in 2013 when he invested $344 million in local newspapers, stating, “Newspapers remain the best source for local news. If you want to learn about your town—whether it’s news about city officials, taxes, or high school sports—nothing compares to a local newspaper that delivers the goods. Readers may lose interest in national or global news after a few paragraphs, but they will stay engaged with stories about their community and neighbors.”

She called an urgent meeting with all the members that morning, and cracked the whip. She disbanded the whole unit and told them she wanted to know by 18:00 to where each member would prefer to be transferred.

Residents of the city who receive services from Silulumanzi are paying almost 100% more than consumers serviced by the City of Mbombela. The council recently approved a 6% increase for water and sanitation, while Silulumanzi increased its fees by 11%. “This is against the law, and thus we have reported the matter to co-operative governance and traditional affairs [Cogta] for urgent intervention,” says Robert Dlamini, the DA’s caucus leader in the council.
