Mad Money
Mad Money is a finance show in the U.S. that airs on CNBC, hosted by Jim Cramer since March 14, 2005. The program primarily focuses on investment strategies and stock market speculation, especially concerning publicly traded companies. Unlike earlier CNBC shows, Mad Money takes on a more entertaining format rather than simply delivering news. Jim Cramer describes "mad money" as the funds you can invest in stocks, as opposed to your retirement savings, which you should keep in a 401K, an IRA, a savings account, bonds, or safe dividend-paying stocks.
