Not only are they 7-12 through their first 19 games, but multiple key players are dealing with injuries, too. This week alone, they lost outfielder Matt Wallner, shortstop Carlos Correa and utility man Willi Castro.

During Grapefruit League action down in Fort Myers, Minnesota Twins fans got a look at top prospect Luke Keaschall. Despite undergoing Tommy John surgery last season, he put together an incredible year at the dish and was ready to rock in Spring Training. Minnesota put him on a recovery plan to start the year as his throwing elbow remains worthy of future protection. He started with the St. Paul Saints and just recently graduated to playing a full nine innings in the field.

Through their first three weeks of the 2025 Major League Baseball season, the Minnesota Twins have stumbled to a 7-12 record out of the gate. With that being said, things have gotten better of late. The Twins have won three of their last four and rebounded to take their last series vs the New York Mets, after losing the opener of the three-game set. It was a much needed, too. It was only the Twins second series win of the season so far.

It hasn’t been a pretty start to the season for the Minnesota Twins. After their series win against the New York Mets they sit at just 7-12 and are staring up at both the Cleveland Guardians and Detroit Tigers in the American League Central Division. They grabbed a victory on Tuesday night but it cost them both Carlos Correa and Matt Wallner. The former played in the late innings on Wednesday, but the latter is headed to the injured list.
