Since they purchased the Nets and New York Liberty in 2019, Joe and Clara Wu Tsai have been active across Brooklyn.

Supporting the community has been a big goal of the Brooklyn Nets, and fans saw it in action again last month. On April 24, the Nets held a basketball camp for kids in the Brooklyn area. As part of Brooklyn Basketball, the Nets and New York Liberty work to give back to the community. Nets forward Cam Johnson, who has been an active part of the Brooklyn community, led the camp. A camp attendee, Able Burrell, spoke to PIX 11 about the clinic.

Throughout a long season, good moments keep one uplifted and excited for what’s next. For Day’Ron Sharpe and the Brooklyn Nets, those moments have laid the foundation for an exciting future. Sharpe was drafted No. 29 in the 2021 NBA draft and came over to the Nets from the Phoenix Suns in a summer trade for Landry Shamet. Sharpe was projected as a solid big man, but there were questions about his ability to succeed at the pro level.
