Notts TV

Notts TV is a local commercial television channel in the UK, serving the City of Nottingham and its nearby areas. The channel began broadcasting on May 27, 2014, initially available on Freeview channel 8 and later on Virgin channel 159. In July 2015, it expanded its reach by launching on Sky channel 117. Notts TV offers a comprehensive video on demand library on its website, allowing viewers to access most of its shows shortly after they air. In April 2016, the channel transitioned to Freeview channel 7, taking over the space previously held by BBC Three, which ceased its linear broadcasts the month before. However, Notts TV stopped its Sky broadcasts in September 2017. The channel is owned by a group of four media organizations based in Nottingham, including Nottingham Post, Nottingham Trent University, Confetti Media Group, and Inclusive Digital, with additional content provided by various local independent producers.
