Happy Pride, everybody! I have my Pride flags hanging on my porch (one rainbow, one white, pink, and blue) and have noticed a couple of neighbors with Pride flags. It’s a happy time of year. Well, it should be. But, well, the people with the most power in this country really, really, really hate us. All of us, LGBTQ and then some. Not an exaggeration to say that he hates the majority of the country.

Non-profit EDGE NJ hosted a zine launch party at its Parsippany headquarters to raise funds and celebrate the work of local queer artists on Monday, June 2. As an organization set on “Responding compassionately and responsibly to the HIV+ and LGBTQ communities,” the sale of the inaugural publication will go towards advancing EDGE NJ’s progressive mission. The alt publication is set to promote visibility and harness the power of creativity to break down stigma.
