Considering the events of 2025, Pasadena could use a party. The Pasadena Heritage Bridge Party — held on odd-numbered years — returns Saturday, July 19, on the historic Colorado Bridge. The event includes live music on three stages, an array of food and beverages from Pasadena restaurants, fun activities for kids and a display of vintage vehicles. “This has been a heartbreaker of a year,” said Michael Robleto, Pasadena Heritage board chair. “I think we all need a party.

Scott said, “We’re at your property right now to take 16 trees we’ve determined are hazardous.” “Wait a minute,” I said, “Which trees? We’re leaving them alone to give them a chance at regrowth.” We agreed to switch to FaceTime so Scott could show us what he had in mind. Ken and I commented on how considerate Scott was for doing that.
