Measurements of the Fermi surface are a fundamental technique for determining the electrical and magnetic properties of solids. In two-dimensional (2D) systems, the area and diameter of the Fermi surface are typically measured using Shubnikov–de Haas oscillations and commensurability oscillations respectively. However, these techniques are unable to detect changes in the parity of the Fermi surface [i.e., when .

Constructing and manipulating quantum states in fast-rotating Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) has long stood as a significant challenge as the rotating speed approached a critical velocity. Although a recent experiment [R. J. Fletcher et al., Science 372, 1318 (2021)] has realized the geometrically squeezed state of the guiding-center mode, the remaining degree of freedom, the cyclotron mode, remains unsqueezed due to the large energy gap of the Landau levels.

We start from a recently favored picture in which the Λc(2940) and Λc(2910) correspond mostly to ND* bound states with JP=1/2−,3/2− respectively, and then add a D as a third particle, looking for the possible binding of the DND* three-body system within the framework of the fixed center approximation. We find that the system is bound with respect to the corresponding Λc(2940)D, Λc(2910)D thresholds with a binding of about 60 MeV and a width of about 90 MeV.
