The Wisconsin Legion Riders, Cruise for a Cause, Be the One for Wisconsin-25’, will be at the Waunakee American Legion Post 360, 417 East Main St., at noon on Friday, June 27. They are doing a three-day ride to raise awareness for Veterans facing battles brought on by their experiences in the service, money for training/equipment to help them in their battle and send Veterans to Camp American Legion. Waunakee board awards bid for Water Wheel Park design

A new park is coming to Water Wheel Drive in Waunakee, with the design process now underway. The Waunakee Village Board has contracted with Parkitecture & Planning, the Madison firm the parks committee worked with for the Centennial Park accessible playground and splash pad, to design the new community park at the 13.2 acre site.
