Ryan Garcia has announced his retirement via social media. It comes as reports out of New York suggest he is facing a suspension for those two failed drug tests that tainted his win over Devin Haney on April 20. Furthermore, the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) have indicated that the result of that bout – a 12-round points win for Garcia – will be changed to a no contest or disqualification victory for Haney.

Like most of the boxing world, Arnold Barboza (30-0, 11 KOs) is a very interested observer in Saturday night’s Gervonta “Tank” Davis versus Frank “The Ghost” Martin lightweight showdown. The clash takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on the Las Vegas strip. The fight will be distributed by Amazon Prime as part of their output deal with Premier Boxing Champions.
