LAS VEGAS – Junior flyweight Naomy Valle believes the sky is the limit for her career – which is not just a saying for her. She is also looking to become an aviator. Valle returns as part of the undercard of Jake Paul-Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr undercard, against veteran Ashley Felix in a six-round bout. Valle, 14-0 (9 KOs), 21, is the younger sister of multi-division titleholder Yokasta Valle, who recently signed with Most Valuable Promotions, the promotional entity headed by Jake Paul.

George Groves hasn’t participated in a professional fight since 2018, but it hasn’t been so long that he fails to remember the quality of the super middleweight division he inhabited back then. Groves’ career overlapped the excellent Super Six World Boxing Classic, and he counted among his contemporaries participants Andre Ward, Mikkel Kessler, Jermain Taylor and Arthur Abraham, as well as some formidable non-participants.

Welterweight Emiliano Moreno continued his ascent up the rankings Saturday night, stopping Erick Bone in the sixth round of the ProBox TV co-feature at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio. Moreno, 20, of Long Beach, California, started quicker than he has in the past, though his approach even in the first round was tactical as he felt out Bone, a 37-year-old from Portoviejo, Ecuador, who pushed forward. That changed at the end of the round when Moreno landed a left hook that rocked Bone.

Bantamweight Eros Correa is hoping his bout on Saturday leads to a dream coming true and a fight for a world title. He faces unbeaten contender Michael Angeletti at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas on ProBox TV. Correa, 15-1 (9 KOs), a 32-year-old from San Jose, California, is looking for what has evaded him: a title shot. One notable achievement for Correa is a 2011 amateur win over two-division titleholder Stephen Fulton Jnr.
