JAMMU, Jun 22: In yet another accident at Akhnoor in Jammu region, eighteen people were injured when two buses collided head on near Bomal on Akhnoor-Jourian road. The unfortunate accident took place on Akhnoor-Jourian road at around 11 AM on Saturday morning. “Eighteen people injured in the accident,” Block Medical Officer (BMO), Dr MohdSaleem told Rising Kashmir, while adding, “Seven injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital(GMC&H), Jammu for specialized treatment.

Srinagar, Jun 22: An encounter between security forces and terrorists is underway along the LoC in the Bajrang area of north Kashmir’s Uri sector and alert has been sounded in the region, officials on Saturday said. Army Spokesman said that Operation Bajrang is underway along the LoC in Uri sector. Earlier based on specific intelligence inputs, an anti-infiltration operation was launched in the Uri Sector.
