It seems like everyone these days has at least one subscription service hacking away at their bank account. Whether it’s Netflix, Spotify or a gym membership, these recurring charges drain income from students, making it difficult for them to make ends meet.

    Mt. SAC is one of California’s leading community colleges, offering over 400 programs that allow students to explore their passions and open up career paths that fulfill their needs. For most students, college is intimidating and even scary at times. Mt. SAC offers so much that some students need help figuring out what they want to study. The High School Outreach program was created to ease the transition from high school to college as well, providing new students with a clear path to success.

    In recent years, mental health struggles have been more accepted in our society, yet the suicide rate for men has continued to steadily increase. 600,000 men a year. 58,000 men a month. 14,000 men a week. 2,000 men a day. On average, 86 men commit suicide every hour. Men’s Mental Health Month was established in 1994 when it was first advertised as Men’s Mental Health Week. Soon after, the observance was signed by President Bill Clinton, making it official.

    If being a convicted felon doesn’t bar you from becoming the leader of the free world, it absolutely in no circumstance should cost you your right to vote. Less than a month ago, Donald Trump became the first current or former US president to be convicted of a felony offense. In fact, he was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records to influence the 2016 Presidential election– all of which had to be unanimously agreed upon by a jury of his peers to lead to conviction.
