Sales tax revenues in Shreveport may be up so far this year, but it's not yet a sure indicator the city's budget is secure. Though sales tax revenues at the end of April were up by 1.6% from that time last year, a top city administrator says it's too soon to know if that's a trend or an anomaly associated with a roiled national economy.
