Kirsten Lynch is out. Vail Resorts announced that its CEO has stepped down, and will be replaced by Rob Katz on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Katz was Vail Resorts' CEO from 2006 to 2021. Lynch replaced Katz in 2021. She will remain on board in an advisory role to “facilitate a smooth transition” Vail Resorts said in a press release. During his previous 16 year tenor, Katz “reinvigorated the company during times of industry stagnation and challenging macro environments,” the release says. Ah, yes. Of course.
