The pace U.S. home-price growth slowed in March, as concerns about personal finances, employment and potential tariff impacts cooled an already lukewarm spring housing market, Cotality, formerly CoreLogic, said in its monthly Home Price Insights report. Nationally, home prices rose just 2.5% year-over-year in March, down from a 2.9% gain in February. The median price for a single-family home was $389,000.

Solares returns to Douglas Elliman after four months at Compass  April 29, 2025 After a four-month stint at Compass, luxury-sales veteran Nikol Solares has returned to Douglas Elliman as executive vice president of sales and strategy. In January, Compass announced that Solares had joined its ranks as senior managing director of new development marketing. She was serving as senior vice president of sales and marketing for new development at Douglas Elliman when she made that move.

Broward County brokerage Green Realty Properties has joined The Agency and will rebrand as The Agency Fort Lauderdale West. The firm will be led by Partner and Broker Associate Patty Da Silva and Partner Chris Green. “While our name has changed, our dedication to excellence remains unchanged,” Da Silva said in a press release.
