Earlier this week, Providence Medical Group Southwest announced that on April 28, it will be consolidating its two women’s health specialty clinics in Olympia to be located adjacent to each other in the same building. PMG Southwest will leave the space used by Providence Women’s Health Services in Olympia and the new clinic will be named Providence Swedish Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor, which will be located next to its Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic on Lilly Road.

In celebration of Earth Day, the city of Tacoma and Pierce Conservation District will host a community planting party at the revitalized McKinley Overlook on April 19. Community members are invited to participate in the volunteer-driven event, which will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at McKinley Overlook, East 32nd Street, and East F Street in Tacoma. Volunteers are encouraged to sign up in advance using the online registration form.
