Suffolk County News

The Suffolk County News, based in Sayville, has its roots dating back to 1884 when it was first established as the Sayville News. The newspaper was founded and initially edited by Walter Burling from Southampton, who also launched several other small publications across Long Island. The reasons for his brief involvement with these papers remain a mystery.
