Pogadl Park Phase 4 work is being paid for using debt borrowing. Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors, in partnership with AECOM, will be hosting an open house on June 25 in Sylvan Lake. During the open house, an update about the Highway 20 Twinning Functional Planning Study between Highway 11 and Highway 12 will be shared. The study is being done in order to develop a long-term plan for Highway 20 to become a 4-lane divided highway between Highway 11 and Highway 12.

Canadian Estonians from across Alberta, and a little further afield, were in the Stettler area on June 7 for a two-part celebration. The first part of the celebration was recognition of the Alberta Estonian Heritage Society's (AEHS) 20th anniversary.
