Washroom one on Lakeshore Drive has been closed due to extensive vandalism. The last instance of vandalism to the lakefront washrooms happened on March 21. In 2024, over 20,000 patients were seen through the Sylvan Lake Advanced Ambulatory Care Service (AACS). Since its opening in 2018, the AACS has been offering the diagnosis and treatment for urgent but non-life-threatening conditions. Conditions treated at the AACS may include: minor cuts or burns, muscle and joint strains, bone fractures, or fever in young children. Currently, the service is continuing to see a high volume of patients from the community and surrounding area.
