Additionally, on the first Thursday of each month, we release the Sun Spot Shopper, which reaches over 7,500 homes. Our coverage extends throughout Alpine and the surrounding Backcountry, including the areas of Alpine, Harbison Canyon, Dehesa, Flinn Springs, Descanso, Guatay, Pine Valley, Mt. Laguna, Jacumba, and Lake Morena Village.

Entering the final quarter of the 2025 high school spring sports season, the Granite Hills baseball team remains a top contender to capture a San Diego Section championship. Granite Hills entered the week once again on top of the Division I baseball power rankings with a 14-0-2 record, 6-0 in Grossmont Hills League play. The Eagles continued to lead the second-ranked Point Loma Pointers (11-5-1) for supremacy in the division rankings.
