Nothing good can come from attacking a person who is already going down after they got caught doing something hurtful. Rather than kicking the jerk as they fall, turn around and help the person they hurt in the first place to stand back up.

It's a bit of a sting each time I spot a great story then realize I no longer write for the local pub which should carry that content.

Why aren't big box stores like Best Buy in Santee being converted into homeless shelters? Close to a hospital, grocery stores, public transportation... Other than local electeds wanting to look the other way, what real reason exists for not subsidizing empty commercial space?
