The second In-Person Qualifying Event kicks off today down in Brazil. Copa Sur is set to host the top athletes from South America to qualify two men and two women to the 2025 CrossFit Games. Here are the links to the leaderboard, live stream, workouts and the list of elite individual athletes competing. LeaderboardCompetition Corner will host the live leaderboard throughout the weekend. In addition to the elite individuals, it also includes the elite and RX teams competing.

Entering the 2025 CrossFit Games season there were questions on whether Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr would compete. With her venture into HYROX in December and comments that she had gone months without touching a barbell, it begged the question on whether the 7-time Fittest Woman on Earth would go for an 8th title. Toomey-Orr kept her options open, however, by finishing inside the top 1% worldwide in the CrossFit Open.

This story is wild! Allie Stewart competed in the Age Group Semifinal recently. In the 35-39 age group division, it appears that Stewart’s floor judge was not who she said she was. In workouts 3 & 4 her judge is “Madison Diaz”. However, Hiller uncovers that her judge is actually named Taylor. The problem is that to judge during the In-Affiliate Semifinals, the judge must have at least a Level 1 certification and have taken both the judges course and advanced judges course.

CrossFit announced this morning that Velites will be the Official Apparel and Footwear Partner of the 2025 CrossFit Games. The news comes just two months after Velites entered into a three-year partnership to be the official grip and jump rope of the CrossFit Games. Based in Spain, Velites will be providing individual and team athletes, staff, media and emergency personnel apparel and footwear while at the 2025 CrossFit Games in Albany, New York.
