Syndicate Crown is one of the In-Person Qualifying Events for the 2025 CrossFit Games. With athletes from only North America East, Syndicate Crown was set to field the top 30 men and women who had yet to qualify for the CrossFit Games. However, this afternoon that number is growing. Citing an “overwhelming number of individuals that competing in the CrossFit Games In-Affiliate Semifinal from the North America East region,” Syndicate Crown will now expand the field to 40 men and 40 women.

Pedro from Coffee Pods and Wods had Will Moorad, Saxon Panchik and Jackson Terry on to discuss the World Fitness Project. From the season structure to the new affiliate program, the trio answered Pedro’s questions. On top of answering the questions, it seems Saxon and Jackson were quite distracted by the live chat. With the World Fitness Project Tour Event 1 starting on Friday, Haley Adams’ name is no longer on the leaderboard. Adams, who just (unofficially) qualified for the 2025 CrossFit Games shared that she has been sick all week. As such, it appears that Adams has elected to skip the first competition of the World Fitness Project. She is the second Pro athlete on the women’s side to sit out the competition in Westfield, Indiana.

If you have checked out the women’s leaderboard for the In-Affiliate Semifinals, you likely saw a bunch of familiar names…and Siria Meha. While the top 11 is littered with CrossFit Games veterans, sitting in 2nd place is an athlete very few have likely heard about. A glance at Meha’s competition history shows that she burst onto the scene in 2022 and has competed at a handful of European competitions where she has stood on the podium. Meha has competed in the CrossFit Open since 2022.

The Individual In-Affiliate Semifinals of the 2025 CrossFit Games season is over. Scores were due at 8:00 pm Eastern Time this evening, along with videos for each workout. The top 11 men and women will earn an invite to compete at the 2025 CrossFit Games this August. But while the leaderboard is populated, the scores are not final. CrossFit will open all videos up to public review before conducting their own review process. The leaderboard will be finalized by Monday, May 19.
