Published 12:30 pm Monday, May 5, 2025 According to a public notice, the City of Bogalusa plans to issue up to $1.75 million in water and sewer revenue bonds to fund improvements to its sewer infrastructure. The City Council adopted a resolution on April 15 declaring its intention to issue the bonds. The bonds will finance additions, extensions, and improvements to the sewer portion of the city’s combined drinking water treatment and sewage system.

They conducted their first-ever mass Oath of Enlistment ceremony, recognizing cadets who committed to military service. The event, held at 2 p.m. in the school’s JROTC gym, was attended by family, classmates, faculty, and military officials.

Published 12:12 pm Wednesday, April 16, 2025 A St. Tammany Parish jury found Ryan Pellegrin, 35, of Pearl River, guilty April 10 of attempted aggravated crime against nature involving a child under the age of thirteen, District Attorney Collin Sims reported. Assistant District Attorneys Taylor Nicholson and Iain Dover prosecuted the four-day trial before Judge Scott Gardner. Lt. Jayson Germann of the Pearl River Police Department led the investigation.
