The Chronicle is a daily newspaper run by students at Duke University, located in Durham, North Carolina. It originally started as The Trinity Chronicle on December 19, 1905. The name was updated to The Chronicle when Trinity College became Duke University, thanks to a generous donation from James Buchanan Duke.

    Republican Jefferson Griffin conceded the North Carolina Supreme Court race Wednesday, ending his unprecedented effort to throw out over 65,000 votes in hopes of overturning the November election’s outcome. His concession marked the end of the last uncalled contest of the 2024 Election.
