☀️ Good Morning ☕So just like that it’s all over. Darren Mougey and Aaron Glenn have completed their first draft and while I have a lot of thoughts, I’m not going to sit here and label it a success or a failure. It’s far too early for that and I’m sure the people in the building have a much better idea on how to construct a team than I do.

Good morning!Welcome to draft week. I’m excited to see what happens and I’ll be relieved when it’s over. I haven’t produced a lot of mock drafts, mainly because there is such an oversaturation now. I quite enjoy a mock draft because it offers different perspectives and gives you something to think about, at at the end of the day it’s a bit of fun during a quiet time for the NFL news cycle. However I do like to finish the draft cycle with one final mock for how I’d like to see it all play out.

☀️ Good Morning ☕How much attention do you pay to off-season rumours, especially off-season rumours pertaining to the draft. Especially off-season rumours pertaining to the draft and team preferences for player selection. The answer to that should be “very little”. But here we are in the middle of March and you can’t help but notice that Jaxson Dart’s name is gaining momentum with the Jets.

☀️ Good Morning ☕Draft picks are risky. No matter how much you believe in someone, you never really know if that player will work out once they take the step to the next level. Some players struggle physically, some struggle mentally, some allow the money to cloud their drive and some aren’t willing to put in the work. NFL teams do a lot of due diligence to mitigate the risk, dedicating millions of $$$’s to the process, yet they still get it wrong.

☀️ Good morning ☕Happy Opening Day to all the baseball fans out there! The Dodgers and Cubs are around an hour away from getting the 2025 MLB season underway in Tokyo. I plan to finish up here and then sit down to watch that one. We’re still 9 days away from the Mets getting their season underway and this is a reminder to head over and subscribe to Mets Fix ahead of the new season, subscribing there was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
